Serhii Tokarev: ZibraGDS Technology Will Change Digital Content Creation

Investor Serhii Tokarev supported ZibraGDS technology for digital production

Ukrainian technology company Zibra AI, with the support of Roosh, announced the release of ZibraGDS, a technology that works with complex animated geometry in real time. It can be used to process highly detailed 3D scenes, including object destruction and water simulation. The new product was presented on 21 July as part of the international ACM SIGGRAPH 2026 Real-Time Live! programme.

The development of the new product from Zibra AI is supported by Serhii Tokarev, investor and co-founder of the Roosh investment group.

How ZibraGDS Will Help Speed Up the Development of Complex Graphics

The new tool is designed to work with animated 3D scenes characterised by a high level of detail, such as water simulation, complex visual effects, particles or object destruction. While teams previously had to spend time on resource-intensive offline processes, now it will be enough to use ZibraGDS.

The new technology allows teams in game development, the film industry and other areas of digital production to complete tasks faster. The advantages of ZibraGDS include:

  • reducing the volume of animated data by up to 92%;
  • speeding up rendering by 5–10 times;
  • working with scenes filled with millions of polygons;
  • processing complex geometry through the graphics processor.

Zibra AI says that the main feature of the technology is its approach to working with volumetric geometric data. This involves the automatic division of 3D objects into small structural elements called meshlets during compression. Then decompression takes place on the GPU through mesh shaders and amplification. This architecture makes it possible to process large amounts of information in parallel and reproduce complex scenes.

“New infrastructure is needed for the development of technologies related to artificial intelligence and digital content. We invest specifically in fundamental developments that will influence the capabilities of the entire industry. The main goal is to make digital content production more accessible, scalable and fast,” says Serhii Tokarev.

The idea of creating ZibraGDS emerged from the practical needs of teams working with large-scale 3D scenes. This concerns offline rendering and unnecessary hours of waiting.

Thanks to the new product, these scenes will run inside the engine in real time, which will certainly simplify the production of video games, films and other interactive products. Teams will be able to see the result in real time, test new solutions faster and use resources more effectively.

The development of Zibra AI is part of a broader direction supported by Serhii Tokarev. The main goal is to create technologies that will be competitive on the global market.
